A performer discovered through a talent search reality TV programme called 'Malaysian Idol: First Season', Faradina Mohd Nadzir, else known as Dina, 22. Since her dazzling performance at the first season of Malaysian Idol, she has performed all over the country in more than 50 shows in the last eight months. While Dina was pursuing her degree in performing arts in a local institution, she had signed to Nature Records and had released her debut album 'Cinta Datang Lagi' in 2005.

Dina comes from a musical family. Her brothers are into underground garage while her dad is an ardent fan of Broery Marantika and her mum listens to all types of music. After her first experience in a karaoke competition, she was stricken with shyness but her mum egged her on to success. In total, Dina won 16 karaoke contests in Johor Bahru making her famous in the city even before she joined Malaysian Idol. Dina also participated in the most anticipated reality singing competition this year, IKON Malaysia.
